How do I create an Apple ID for work?
Some company services on your Mac, such as iCloud features, require an Apple ID. If you need one, create it with your work email address.
Do I need an Apple ID? In most cases, no. deeploi installs your company apps and updates automatically, so you do not need access to the App Store. If you are unsure, ask your IT admin.
Step 1: Skip the Apple ID during Mac setup
When your Mac asks you to sign in with an Apple ID, click Set Up Later. You create it once your work email is ready.

Step 3: Check your work email
Log in to your work email and make sure you can send and receive messages.
Step 4: Wait one hour
Apple needs to reach your email address while you create the Apple ID. Waiting at least one hour after your email is active makes sure it is ready.
Step 5: Create your Apple ID
- Go to account.apple.com.
- Click Create Your Apple ID.
- Enter your work email address and follow the on-screen steps.
Apple sends a verification email to your work address. Open it and click the link to confirm your Apple ID.
Step 6: Sign in on your Mac
Open Apple menu → System Settings and click Sign In with your Apple ID.
