Wait at least one hour after your work email account is activated before creating the Apple ID. Your email address needs to be reachable by Apple during the setup process.

Steps

  1. Set up your Mac. When asked to sign in with an Apple ID during Mac setup, click Set Up Later. You will create the Apple ID after your email account is ready.

  2. Connect your device to deeploi. Follow the steps in Connect Your MacBook to deeploi to register your device. This step activates your work email account.

  3. Check your work email. Log in to your work email and confirm that you can send and receive messages. This confirms the account is active.

  4. Wait one hour. Apple requires email addresses to be reachable at the time of Apple ID creation. Waiting one hour ensures your email is fully set up.

  5. Create your Apple ID. Go to account.apple.com, click Create Your Apple ID, and use your work email address. Follow the on-screen steps to complete setup.

Apple will send a verification email to your work address. Open it and click the link to confirm your Apple ID.

After creating your Apple ID, sign in on your Mac via Apple menu → System Settings → Sign In with your Apple ID.
