Why is this data processed?
What is it used for?
deeploi needs basic device data to do its job. Without it, deeploi cannot push software updates, confirm security settings are active, or help your IT admin diagnose a reported problem.
For example, deeploi cannot push a software update to your device without knowing its name and current operating system version. It cannot confirm your device is protected without checking whether encryption is enabled. If your device is ever lost, your IT admin can use deeploi to lock it remotely to protect company data.
What is the legal basis?
deeploi processes your device data under a data processing agreement between deeploi and your employer. This agreement follows the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your employer is the data controller and determines the scope of what is processed.
Who can see my data?
Your IT admin and the deeploi support team can see the device and employee data listed above. No one outside your company or deeploi has access.
How long is my data kept?
Your data is kept for as long as your employer's contract with deeploi is active. When you leave the company and your offboarding is complete, your personal data is deleted or anonymised according to the retention terms in the agreement between deeploi and your employer.
Can I request my data or ask for deletion?
Send an email to hello@deeploi.io with the subject Data access request. You can also contact your IT admin directly.
