Steps

  1. Go to Apple menu → System Settings.
  2. Click General → Transfer or Reset.
  3. Click Erase All Content and Settings.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.

Your Mac will restart and the reset will begin. This takes about 15 to 30 minutes.
