What do I do if Windows is unstable or a USB device stops working?
If Windows crashes, freezes, or your mouse, keyboard, or headset stops working after your laptop wakes up, one of the causes below is usually the reason. A restart fixes most of them. If a fix asks for an administrator password you do not have, stop there and contact your IT admin: on a work laptop, deeploi holds the administrator rights so nothing breaks by accident.
